I'm a mom to Lucas, 11, and Victoria, 8, and have been a part of the Stroller Strides family since 2008. Fitness has always been a big part of my life. When Victoria was born, I found Stroller Strides through a friend, and with the help of my husband, I opened a franchise in Boca Raton, FL (where they still hold classes everyday under the ownership of one of my former instructors), and successfully ran the business and taught class for almost 6 years. While running the franchise I discovered my true passion: helping moms through motherhood. From there I took a plunge and went back to school to become a nurse. With the support of my family and an amazing crew of instructors, I graduated and became a Labor & Delivery RN, and started working in a community hospital in the area right after graduation. Now, I'm also in the process of choosing a school to pursue my dream of becoming a midwife. Everything was going smoothly, until life threw a curveball: my husband's job transferred us across states to Charlotte, and so, I was faced the tough decision of passing on my business, my passion. But thankfully, Charlotte FIT4MOM accepted me as an instructor. I am now working at CMC main in the Labor and Delivery and High Risk Antepartum Units, so you might see me around the hospital if you have your baby there! I am a runner and avid yogi; and juggling a career, kids and husband while trying to pursue my own dreams, staying fit and helping others are my daily struggle and also the biggest things I am grateful for. Helping moms reach their goals and dreams brings me such satisfaction and happiness, I'm glad I ever became an instructor and part of the family!
