Can I join if I am pregnant?

Yes! We encourage expectant moms to continue to exercise through their pregnancy as long as everything has been approved by their physician. Stroller Strides, Stroller Barre, and Fit4Baby are all excellent options. Instructors are trained in both pre and post natal fitness and follow the ACOG guidelines. We can modify any exercise that poses an issue as you progress through your pregnancy. We do require your doctor's approval prior to beginning. If pregnant please have your doctor complete the Physician Approval form so you are ready to go on your first day! Exercise during pregnancy helps improve or increase:

  • Cardiovascular fitness
  • Muscular strength/endurance
  • Energy levels
  • Higher fatigue threshold
  • Posture and biomechanics
  • Circulation
  • Self-esteem, sense of well-being
  • Recovery time
